From the mint "In the Soldier Bullion Series, the second release focuses on Greaseman Gary. This design focuses on a World War II-era soldier with his M3 submachine gun, a close-quarters and medium-range combat weapon popularly referred to as the grease gun because it resembled a mechanics grease gun.
Obverse
On the obverse side of Silver Soldier Bullion Series Greaseman Gary Rounds, you will find a depiction of Greaseman Gary on the battlefield. Set against a smoke-filled battlefield, Greaseman Gary kneels down to steady himself as he prepares to fire his M3. The inscriptions on this side include only GREASEMAN GARY.
Reverse
The reverse face of the 1 oz Silver Greaseman Gary Round comes with a depiction of the common star design for the series. Here, you will find the image of a five-pointed star at the center with SOLDIER BULLION inscribed across the star. There is a field of light rays in the background with inscriptions along the lower edge of the field that read ONE OUNCE 999 SILVER.
